Main duties and responsibilities: In this role you will be the customer interface for the Energy Customer Service Business, providing in-country technical support to maximise availability of the equipment. You will provide fault-finding and diagnostic support as well as carrying out scheduled maintenance installation, commissioning and upgrades of equipment ensuring compliance with the customer's and our Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
The principal responsibility of this position is the delivery of an effective and professional
Technical service to the Total LTSA. This involves being the interface at a technical level for the client with the customer and also providing both field service and technical support as required by the management team and/or customer needs.
· Deliver a professional Technical Service capability to various customer accounts within Angola, as required by the client.
· Be the customer interface for the client and for providing both Technical Support and a Field Service role in order to maximise the availability of the customer’s equipment.
· Identify potential opportunities for Engineered Solutions, Spare parts, Field Services, Spare engines and other products & services that may be offered.
· On a case-by-case basis, lead project teams formed to deliver specific objectives for assigned customers.
· Provide training & development assistance to any locally employed personnel, customers or other employees.
· Provide customers with a 24 hour/365 day professional technical support service to ensure customer satisfaction by being a part of a 24/7 On-Call rota.
· Provide a complete professional technical support service to the maintenance contract teams, to ensure minimised downtime and minimised liquidated damage claims against the client and to provide fault finding/diagnostic advice to Field Service Engineers and other Technical Support staff.
· Prepare technical documentation for customers based upon in-service experience whilst ensuring equipment is operated in a correct and safe manner.
· Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with the customer’s and clients Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
