Our client has grown to become one of worlds largest providers of data infrastructure and networking products, they are dedicated to designing and maintaining today's integrated voice and data communication systems. An opportunity has now arisen for a Nortel Commissioning engineer.
As a Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for installing and commissioning Nortel equipment in large retail stores.
This role requires a self motivated engineer with experience of working with Nortel equipment. It is envisaged you will spend the majority of your time working with clients across the UK.
Your duties will include:
- installing and commissioning Nortel Switches on site at customer premises
- liaising with customers regarding start-up schedules and the progress of new installation projects
- providing technical support.
This position involves significant travel, with some nights away. As such, you should be willing to travel, flexible in your approach and hold a clean driving licence.
The ideal candidate will enjoy travelling and will be organised, positive and confident.
