We are currently seeking a document controller to assist the Projects Department of an Oil and Gas company based in Thetford. Initially on a part time basis this role is until October but could possibly go on longer. The purpose of this role is to assist the Project Manager with all the administration generated by the projects department. This role will include the following duties
*To compile, maintain and update the project drawing and master document register, ensuring all sub-contractors and suppliers submit their documentation in a timely manner for on-passing to the client
* Generating electronic transmittals for issuing
* Provide support to Project Manager and QA Manager with regards to documentation searches and retrieval including scanning & creation of project document front sheets
*Manage retrieval of physical data for the archive facility
*General document control administration
*Ensure compliance with agreed Document Management procedures and work processes
Experience required:
* Competent in the use of Document Management Systems
* Working knowledge of Document Control Systems and Procedures
* Strong administration and computer based skills i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point
* Must be a team player with good communication skills
