Our Client a large manufacturing organisation in the Plymouth area is seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits leader to ensure they are the “employer of choice”. Responsible for the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our clients UK’s compensation and benefit strategy. You will be reporting to the Plant Controller responsible for the smooth running and continuous improvement of the Benefit Centre which is aimed at providing an accurate and timely service to the total UK for Payroll processing and Benefits Administration. Maintain and improve operational standards including financial, legislative and policy controls. Develop UK compensation and benefit strategies to progress towards the Company vision of becoming the ‘Employer of Choice’.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Good leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ideally HR and Payroll related experience in a large company dealing with complex issues and a number of locations.
• Experience of employee tax, P11D and expatriate issues.
• In depth knowledge of employee benefits.
• Knowledge of or worked with Flexible Benefits menus.
• Experience of Time and Attendance systems desired.
