COST ANALYST - DEFENCE / SURREY / £27K-£36K
* Excellent opportunity for a Cost Analyst to work on a range of projects for MOD & other government departments
* Involves definition of requirements & assumptions, identification of key issues, development of tailored cost models to assess trade-offs & compromises, the evaluation/analysis of data & interaction with clients to convey results
* Probably entails extensive use of spreadsheet tools
* Projects will be a mix of performance & cost assessments
Costs Analysts with the following skills are welcome to apply:
- Degree qualified in an numerate discipline or have equivalent experience
- Experience in defence system analysis including cost modelling or business cases
- Familiar with MoD
- Exp developing cost models to analyse cost data
- Able to collect, collate & interpret cost data from previous projects, supplier estimates, internal experts & published sources
- Exp undertaking statistical analysis of data
- Familiar with & confident using spreadsheets to create basic & complex cost estimating models
- Exp may include relevant MSc, PhD &/or experience of working on defence-related projects |
