Our client, a very friendly rapidly expanding retail company with a very friendly product based in Windsor, Berkshire have a requirement for a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller the key purpose of the role is to aid in the preparation of the monthly financial accounts. Key tasks will include control of various balance sheet reconciliations including prepayment and accrual analysis and provisions, intercompany reconciliations and control of the Fixed Asset register including providing for depreciation etc. You will also have responsibility for the VAT return, overseeing the payroll, co-ordinating treasury activities and involvement in some management account studies. The ideal candidate will have good double entry skills perhaps be studying for an accountancy qualification and in return you will receive a salary of between £33k-£40k.
